Balancing Machine Calibration & Certification

provides both calibration and certification services for our customers' balancing machines. We test the balancing machine and establish the machines accuracy with NIST traceable weights. We then test the machine to insure its performance is within the manufacturer’s specifications. When complete, a certificate is issued from Precision Balancing Co., Inc. and a calibration sticker is also placed on your machine, both of which are valid for one year. Remember, most manufacturers' recommend that their machines be calibrated annually to insure their accuracy and extend their service life.
Once the calibration is complete, your machine can then be certified. This includes additional testing done to an even higher set of standards, which are similar to ISO 2953. All test results are then verified by an independent laboratory. Certificates and stickers are then issued which are also valid for one year. Certification complies with the standards set by ANSI/NCSLZ 540, ISO 9000, QS 9000, ISO 17025 and ISO 16494.
